All services →Commercial solar
Solar on your building, on open ground or over your parking, for factories, farms, shops and offices.
Water & pumping
Boreholes, solar pumping and irrigation where sites need water.
Batteries & backup
Batteries and solar generators keep your key machines running when the grid goes off. Your generator runs less, so you spend less on diesel.

Power and water for rural sites
No water on site? We drill a borehole and run the pump on solar. The same crew builds your power system.
Water & pumping →Why solar pays now
Power keeps getting more expensive. NERSA let Eskom put its prices up by 8.76% on average from 1 April 2026 for the businesses it supplies direct, and by 9.01% for cities and towns that buy from Eskom from 1 July 2026 (NERSA decision). Your city or town then sets its own price for businesses.
Every unit your solar makes is a unit you don't buy. We size it to the power you use in the day. Batteries keep your key machines running when the grid goes off, so your generator runs less and you spend less on diesel.

Send us your power bill
Take a photo of your last power bill and upload it here. We look at your tariff and what you use, and tell you what solar and batteries could save. It's free.
- 01Take a photo of your bill, or use the PDF.
- 02Upload it with your name and number.
- 03Adam looks at it and gets back to you with what solar and batteries could save.
We only use your bill to work out your savings. We don't share it.
Solar questions
What does TIA Energy do?
We plan, build and look after solar, batteries and boreholes for businesses. We are based in Gauteng. One team does it all, from the first chat to looking after your system.
Which businesses is TIA's solar for?
Factories, warehouses, farms, commercial property such as malls, retail centres and office parks, and rural or off-grid sites. Every site uses power and water differently, so each system is designed around how the site runs. See industries.
Where does TIA work?
TIA is based in Gauteng, South Africa, and builds across Africa, including rural sites and remote farms where the grid and the water supply don't reach.
Is solar worth it for my business?
For most businesses that use power in the day, yes. You save on every unit you no longer buy from the grid, and prices keep going up: NERSA let Eskom put its prices up by 8.76% on average from 1 April 2026, and by 9.01% for cities and towns from 1 July 2026 (NERSA decision). How much you save depends on what you pay and when you use power. Book a quick chat or try the free bill check to find out.
Do you do the whole job?
Yes. We plan it, buy the parts, build it, switch it on and look after it. You deal with one team. See how it works.
