Commercial solar

Buildings & carports
The most common starting point for factories, warehouses and shopping centres. We check your building can take the panels, place them around skylights and machines, and wire them into your power board. Solar over your parking makes shade and power.

On the ground
For sites with open land that need more power than the building can hold, like farms and far-off sites where grid power was never reliable.
Water & pumping

Boreholes & drilling
If a site needs water and it isn't there, we help find it and bring it up: siting, drilling, casing, yield testing and pump installation.

Pumps & irrigation
Solar pumping, storage tanks and irrigation sized for the borehole and the crop.
Batteries & backup

Batteries & solar generators
Batteries keep your key machines running when the grid goes off. They can also cut the extra you pay at busy times. Solar generators power far-off sites that would otherwise run on diesel.
Every project starts with a quick chat
Adam calls you for 15 minutes about your site and your bills. Then, if it makes sense, we look at your site and show you what to build and what it costs. That could be solar alone, or solar with batteries and water. Book a quick chat or see how it works.
Send us your power bill
Take a photo of your last power bill and upload it here. We look at your tariff and what you use, and tell you what solar and batteries could save. It's free.
- 01Take a photo of your bill, or use the PDF.
- 02Upload it with your name and number.
- 03Adam looks at it and gets back to you with what solar and batteries could save.
We only use your bill to work out your savings. We don't share it.
Questions about our services
What do you do from start to finish?
We plan it, buy the parts, build it, switch it on and look after it. One team, from the first chat on. See each step.
What is the difference between grid-tied, hybrid and off-grid solar?
A grid-tied system works with the grid and cuts the units you buy. A hybrid system adds batteries, so your key machines keep running when the grid goes off. An off-grid system is not linked to the grid at all. It runs on solar, batteries and a backup generator, which suits far-off sites.
Does my business need batteries?
Not always. Batteries make sense when your key machines must keep running when the grid goes off, or to cut the extra you pay at busy times. A site that uses most of its power in daylight can often save without them. We look at when you use power and what you pay before we suggest batteries.
Can my business claim the Section 12B tax allowance on solar?
Possibly. Under Section 12B of the Income Tax Act, a business can deduct 100% of the cost of a solar PV system of up to 1 MW in the year it is first used in its trade, if the business owns the system or buys it under an instalment credit agreement. Larger systems are deducted 50:30:20 over three years. The 125% Section 12BA incentive only applied to assets brought into use before 1 March 2025. See SARS guide IT39 and check your position with your tax adviser.
Does TIA drill boreholes as well as install solar?
Yes. If a site needs water and it isn't there, TIA helps find it and bring it up: siting, drilling, casing, yield testing and pump installation, with solar pumping, storage tanks and irrigation sized for the borehole and the crop.
