Heilbron, Free State Location Heilbron, Free State System Solar borehole pumps Water 2 pumps on 1 solar array
One set of solar panels runs two borehole pumps. Pump 1 gives just over 8,000 litres an hour from a 35 metre borehole. Pump 2 is a 7.5 kW pump that runs fully on solar and gives 25,000 litres an hour.

Thabazimbi, Limpopo Location Thabazimbi, Limpopo System Borehole pump Water 80 m deep, 2 km to the homestead
On this farm, the pump lifts water from an 80 metre borehole. The water travels 2 kilometres to the main homestead and arrives at about 5,500 litres an hour.
